After many snow days, teacher in-services and President's Day - we finally got to celebrate Valentine's Day!!! The kiddos had so much fun and the weather was perfect for an outside celebration!!! Instead of cupcakes we celebetated friendship with a friendship fruit salad. We just have the best parents for sending in all the fruit!! The kids really loved it and not one complaint about not having cupcakes! Here are some pics from our lovely day!!!
We started the morning with some candy heart math time!!
Students had to sort, count and write the numbe, tally the number and show the member on a 10 frame!! They did great!!
Next, was the big card exchange!! They were so excited!!!
We made these super cute Splat the Cats!! They writing attached is the recipe for our Friendship salad!
