A Whole Lotta Catching Up- GP Day, Apples, and Monsters

Well, I may be the worst teacher ever!!! I haven't blogged hardly any of my sweet classes learning adventures this year!!! I've just been crazy with this little thing called life ( and my Master's Degree)!  So, while on Fall Break I have vowed to catch up and do better- let's see how they goes ;) !  The following photos are from our Grandparents Day Program, Apples Unit, and Monsters Unit.  Each unit it thematic based and covers literacy and math (both are from Julia Lee- love her work)! The measureing students with apples was a Pinterest idea-not sure how I came up with ideas before - LOL!!  Enjoy the pics- now time to make pumpkin spice French toast for my own sweeties- I LOVE FALL BREAK!!
This is from a firefly math game-so fun!!!
Below are all our Grandparent's Day Photos!

Next, some pics from our Apple Unit!! I measured students to see how many apples tall or long they were!! It was great - we estimated first and then counted- lots of great hands on  Math!! Also, a couple of pics of our Johnny Appleseed Craft- too cute!!

Just a few pics from our Monster's Unit- these are measuring our monsters and one to one corespondence.
