An Apple A Day

     An apple a day makes for a busy week in kindergarten!! We had a super fun week with a great Johnny Appleseed Unit!! It included counting, color words, measuring apples, writing and of course Johnny Appleseed!! We also made homemade applesauce on Friday but I had ZERO time to take pics of that fun activity- too many cooks in the classroom for any pics ;) .

This was our "How Many Apples Up On Top."  They turned out do cute!! They cut their picture out and glued it on top and wrote the numbers on the apples!! They loved it!!!

Button Box Sorting

     It seems like every week is busy in Kindergarten!! Last week we did some great sorting lessons!! My favorite was a button sort that the kids loved we did this with the book The Button Box!! We also made some pretty cool lizards for the letter L!!

Color Days

     Our color unit is finally over!! The kiddos really loved it!! One little sweetie asked me just today, "What color is it today?" So sad that unit is over and we started our "real schedule" today!! Here are some fun pics from our unit and hopefully I will get the Teddy Bear Picnic photos posted soon!! I have the best intentions but I'm one tired teacher ;)!!
